Psp wont power up, light blinks for half sec.

I just bought a TA-82 mobo from a ebay user.  So I received it today and just got finished putting everything in.  I turned it on and the green power light blinked for half a second and nothing happened after that.  Like the problem in the following video (note its not my video, just happened to find it):

I am using a ta-82 mobo with ta-86 wifi which are the same and I have a friend that is using that combo and it works fine for him.  So don't tell me that it is the wrong mobo.  I'll return it to the person I bought it from if there is no other way.  So is there a way to fix this?

Ive had the same thing happen with a short and a fried mobo. So it can be either of those.

mine did the same thing after i took it apart and reassembled it worked good. so you can try that it might help.

Yea, just took everything apart and connected everything (on my hands not on psp) and it still didn't work :(.

Description stated "psp motherboard used in perfect conditon FOR THE FAT PSP" and in a message he stated that it works fine.  I made a claim on him.

I hit the paypal unverified CREDIT CARD limit (not account) and everytime I try to buy something through paypal, it would say "last auction could not be completed".  I've herd that paypal holds the money until a postive feedback or something is given.  So I gave him a positive feedback thinking that I would be able to buy more stuff after than. It didn't work lol.


btw the guy give me refunded $32.50 and asked me to ship it back.  Which I will after I get the clear payment (shows up as plending for approx. 3-5 days).

It's only a short,or the power fuse could be partially blown (it happens!),it's nothing that can't be fixed/bridged.
