LOL...

If by chance that is one of the few drives that can be used to clone a 360 HDD, making a 20gb image backup will be just that, a 20gb HDD. so that would be 300gb of wasted money.  the biggest drive for 360 atm is 120gb so that is the largest a drive can be without some seriously clever file modding which would be detectable by M$.  There are tutorials out there for this mod, however if 20gb is all you have available to make a copy then it is hardly worth it.

i read on another fourm that if i put this one in there that would work right but i would only be able to use 120gb of it

so if i find another laptop 2.5 inch 120gb hdd then that should work correct?

Video Tutorial Upgrade Xbox 360 Hard Drive

i dont think he makes an Image of the drive i thought it was just copying every thing on the drive

I am not sure about the terminology, image or copying, as i havent tempted this mod (there is little to gain from it), but you will need to have a copy/image of the 120gb drive in order to do it.

The biggest part of this mod is to find a compatible drive, as not just any drive will work.  There is a list of compatible drives available, probably where you found out what you found out about this mod.  If they said that drive that you chose would work and the price is right then stick with it, just dont short change yourself by cloning a drive that is 20gb, at least make sure it is 120gb.

You can only use ONE type of drive because there is only support for that single product line of drives. You're going to have to flash a new firmware to it, hence why it's the only one supported.

If I remember correctly, neither of those are correct. Just google it.

You cannot just copy the contents of your 360 HDD to any HDD. You need to flash the HDD with firmware that the 360 will recognize. I used a WD 1200bevs hdd. You can find them on ebay already flashed with the firmware needed to use with the xbox 360. Or you can buy one yourself and flash the firmware needed. Here is a couple links that will help you.

If you need more help ask me and I can try and help. I wrote down the steps I used to make my HDD compatible somewhere....
