Ok here is a mod i tried once but fried mobo so I will start from scratch with a new PSP now.

Shouldn't be too hard to find them yourself. If you don't mind soldering to traces, each button has one common line, then one isolated trace. The joystick may be hard but they are just potentiometers. The DPAD is just like the buttons. Hope I helped, and good luck.

we dont host the immages therefore have no way to get those exact pics back. sorry, try to search around I am sure you can find other diagrams around the site or the web.

as a new policy at acidmods, once tuts have been approved they are now uploaded and stored on the AM server to keep these dead links from happening, however this just started recently

try looking in this section, I have found that is a little known gold mine for pinouts and such

have a good button tester? That shows buttons working? I had one AGES ago but have been out of the PSP scene for some time.

test continuity or voltage/no voltage upon button press, you may need an extra set of hands though. LOl

They have testers that test connections and voltage amps and so on. But i think there pricey.
