You can paint an xbox with any kind of paint.

Will it look good? Probably not.

Get Krylon Fusion. Thats made for plastic.

NO! Dont use that!!!! I could eat the plastic up. Also the P.H in your sweat will fad Krylon Fusion after some time. Auto paint at a low temp bake so you dont shrink the plastic. It has to bake for 1 hr at 100 degrees. NO MORE NO LESS THAN 100 DEGREES.The paint molecules will bond to the plastic.

Honestly, everyone says that Krylon Fusion is the best, but in my opinion and experience, I feel that either Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric or Duplicolor Auto Spray with adhesion promoter and clear coat is the best way to go.  Krylon is simply a cheaper and lower quality paint.

yes, but krylon fusion is also far easier to use for beginners. much easier for a first time painter...

good point although I spent about a whole week of free time leaning and taking copious notes on tutorials from MyCustomXbox and other people on how to paint effectively.  Also, I tend to be a perfectionist when it comes to stuff like this...  :)

I did the same, but most of the time something goes wrong the first time around, regardless of the method you use...

Unfortunately, this sounds weird, the first time it went perfect, so I had no mistakes to learn from, the controller I am doing now, this is the first big bomb.  Turned out really badly lol, sanded it down, redoing the whole design process starting tomorrow...
