Dye over dye?
« on: January 12, 2010, 07:58:50 PM »
I got another 360 controller that I want to paint.  I decided to dye it this them because it keeps the surface the same instead of the gloss that feels sticky in your hand if you get sweaty.  The problem is that I want to do a design on it but I don't know if I can put dye over dye.  I just need two colors: red and black (or blue and black but I haven't decided yet.) I plan on using a vinyl sticker over the first layer then dyeing the second layer with the vinyl on.

Can you do it?
