PspKicks316:
What the hell are you talking about?
You can't do any 360 drive modding with a laptop, period.

PSP I would advise you to just leave the thread.
99% of your information has been false.
You can FLASH a 360 with a laptop with any connectivity kit and usb sata.
You can BURN 360 games with any duallayer DVD burner. (YES They use DUAL LAYER discs, NOT HDDVDs, A simple google would answer that for you)
You can BACKUP your own 360 games with any KREON flashed dvd drive.

Yah, don't be an :censored:.
I've tried connecting dvd drives to laptops using crap like that and it doesn't work. Oh well.
I have googled, and google told me HD DVD.
treemty:
scott is almost 100% correct, but he has one thing wrong, you cant flash your drive using a USB-sata connector, because you cant get the drive keys from the USB, only serial and serial ata(sata)
kicks, they are on DL dvds, and each game is about 7.3GB, if they were on HD dvds they would only be playable on the now, obsolete HD dvd player
A DL(dual layer) DVD can hold a maximum of 8.5GB just for reference
NOTE FOR EVERYBODY!
To create your own xbox 360 game backup, you must have the samesung "Kreon" with a flashed firmware.
To BURN the backups to a DL DVD, you must have a dvd burner that supports DL DVDs, you do not need any custom firmware on your burner.
To PLAY the backups on your console, you MUST have a flashed drive, i.e. iExtreme CFW

All I know is I googled at one point and it said hd dvd. Meh
