Best way to softmod DSLite
« on: August 20, 2009, 08:43:37 AM »
Hi all, I'm COMPLETELY new to DS modding... so please be nice!  :whoosh:
Anyways my little bro has a DSlite and we've got heaps of GBA games, and around 10 or more DS games.
I'm wanting to find out the best and cheapest way to mod the DS so that we can play all these games off an SD card or something and not carry a backpack around in order to play them!? I've heard of a few carts available to allow you to do this, is this the only way to go? And if so which one is best suited?
Thanks all, sorry for the noobish question!

Any card should work.  You won't be able to play gba games on a slot one card however but all your ds games you should.  I have supercard that works fine for me.  www.Dealextreme.com is the best/cheapest place to get them.

Can't I install Homebrew and run an emulator at least so I can run GBA games like that?

There are a fair few cards out there, is there a guide or an article any where that explains the pro's and con's of various cards?

I don't know as I haven't bought one in a while.   I know that you can't run any gba games even with an emulator.  The only to do that is with a slot 2 flash card and those are kind of rare now.
