battery mod queries
« on: August 22, 2009, 09:00:11 AM »
hey guys...i just opened up my phats battery...

on the process i accidentally cut my way through the cell itself twice or thrice...

causing to burn a little and some smoke...which is unpleasant to smell and makes my

tummy ache as i inhale some  smoke coming out from it...

and when i finally opened it up i decided to draw a diagram as i want to share with

everyone and as well consult with you guys my plan...i want ur opinion on this...

the image is straight forward..so let me know if i need more modifications so i can pull this

one off..much help would be appreciated

this is the board itself...

btw i'm not really planning to squeeze two 3.7v battery at phats battery compartment..

im not really sure, but you put two 9 volts togather dont you get 18 volts?
if so, the drawing you have would make 7.4 volts.
like i said im not sure, but that would be something to look into.

also there is a regulator to charge the battery, so that being said, wouldnt it charge one battery and stop.

thats only if the batteries are hooked in series. if they are in parallel, then the voolts wil not increase, but the mah will.

you may still be able to charge the batteries with the stock charger.

this should work, but noone will know until someone tries it.
