How do I change the color of my thumb sticks and D-pad

First off I would like to say thanks to all of you who have helped me out on my first mod. All is going good and I am enjoying modding my controller alot.

I wanted to mod my thumb sticks and D-pad from black / gray to all white. Any suggestions on how to do this?

I used Dupli .Color High Preformance Vinyl & Fabric coating. It works great!!!!!

ive never tried it but hmm  try krylon paint if not sharpies are always a option =p

I used krylon fusion for mine. Dont use a sharpie.

Open the controller up, remove the thumbsticks and D-pad and paint. 1-2 layer primer, 1-2 layer white, 2-3 layer clearcoat. replace into controller and viola!

its easier to use Dupli-Color High Performance Vinyl & Fabric can be found at oreilly auto parts. or similar product. mainly you want one that has acetone in it. not acetate. or you can find vinyl dyes online for about $20 for a 11oz. but youll also need a airbrush set up for that. you need to be carefull with it cause its really light compared to paints.
