UPDATED GUIDELINES

After talking to a few members , the general consensus is that a template will be a better idea for the mag.

What we are looking for is a cool template with a logo for the mag which should kind of blend in with the acidmods logo. A cool design around the borders etc.... (use ur creativity)
The design should be such that it is reusable , we can insert pics related to articles from that particular issue in it.....

As before , the size should be A4

YOU HAVE FIVE DAYS TO SUBMIT YOUR ENTRIES

The winner gets exclusive preview access to the mag...
when i say exclusive, i mean it (not even the blogs team has access to the articles

)

the winning entry will be chosen via a poll

the winner of this compitition will also have thier name listed in the credits of the mag, and a small print on the bottom of the cover is posible also.

I can personally throw in a xbox 360 rapid fire WAW chip to the winner. To sweeten the deal.

you see that thing at the top which says , acid mods - leaders in modding technology ? With the psp as a background and other consoles listed too... Thats the logo... modify it if you think something will look better. Just remember that it should be recognizable.

I think 4dP is right. It should be different every month. We should make a Main Title, like real magazines have that never changes. Like the AM logo on the top and the rest is some titles of articles and the big picture is the main article.

The competitions will be made bi-monthly seeing as that is when we plan to release subsequent magazines because of content quantity

can you give us more details? so the template is for the cover page only? how much are you wanting to fit (like 1 photo and text, or 40 photos and text)?

As i said , we need to have a magazine logo but it should tie in with the AM Logo .... It should be such that we can put in text + pics related to the articles in that issue.

I rememered writing one about the eeprom being hacked in the psp slim or something, way before the slim was hacked. Im not sure if it was published though

Luke is already helping me with art design for the mag... But i'm shocked that no one here is interested in helping out on this project

I've barely received any articles or any contributions towards the magazine. I truly believe that before complaining that the site is not progressing or that projects are being left mid-way one should think if they have contributed something towards it.

I am really disappointed....

there is so much going on with the site right now, its not the best time. but I think we need to relook at all member groups. this may posibly include removing all members and reassigning them as members signup, based on participation. I want to create a new member group for the acidmag. and for each of these main member groups I want a modorator for each group. and that modorator will be responcable for adding and removing members of that group.
