im new to the 360 mod stuff not been around much on here so sorry if this has been posted before


just woundering cos i flashed my drive and got a bad flash
i was just woundering if i could use a already flashed drive the same as mine on my xbox and still play backups cos this flashin thing does may head in i was crapping my self with my sons wii lol

so would it be possable or would i have to use the key i never backed up from my bricked drive lol

i think you didnt backup the correct drive key when you flashed your drive causing it to not flash properly.. and no i dont think you can use a different key from another drive (of the same make) because each drive has its own unique key.

 **correct me if im wrong on anything ive said** :)

gat with treemty he does them if you send him the drive, please do so off the forums, (through PM) you cannot just change t he drive out with another one, it must be your drive, but you did not back it up.. you may be screwed. get with treemite, if he cant help I dont think you can be helped. as drive flashing is his specialty.

I am here to the rescue(lol i know its stupid), but
if you want to reflash your brick. you will need to purchase an infectus chip, and get someone elses mobo and dvd drive, copy it and spoof it to your xbox. its a pain, but thats the danger of doing your flashing unprofessionally. The infectus method is a pain in the ass, because you have to solder everything then unsolder and solder again. I recommend just buying a new xbop arcade, send it to us and well flash it for $20+ shipping
also, with the infectus method, if the other xbox gets banned from xbl, so will yours. ive also only seen infectus for hitachi and samsung brand dvd drives:

well i have to other 360s  so ill get them flashed lol so would i be able to sell the xbox for parts or is that no good to anyone due to the drive?

spare parts. sel it on ebay for $25-40... TELL them the drive key is lost. (be honest)  or break it down sell off just the parts, $15-20 for the shell, 5-10 depending on what HDD (let me know what size as I am looking for a big one) $5 bucks for the cables. $20 for the mobo (no RROD) etc...

just re-flash the firmware, and use that key, like it was normal
