(Actually I am surprised I made it this far! :drunk:)

I need to get the power plug out, but it seems impossible. I have removed the lcd case and dpad, and need to remove the speakers before the power plug

I am trying to get to the WiFi switch because it is broken. Then I will solder it and bridge the connection so its permanently on
SOLVED!! I HAVE REMOVED THE MOBO AND AM SOLDERING IT TOMORROW AS I HAVE TO READ 200 PAGES

tweesers or small pliers. but be gentle the first time out is the hardest, and make sure to pull the plastic part and not the wires.
Do not pull the outlet itself but the part thats smaller than outlet.
as for the power plug loosen the screw by the plug and the mobo should give enough to lift slightly and pull the power plug from the socket

Alright this: in step 9, picture 2, the big red circle, with the umd laser ribbon, you lift the white part tab out or what

for that one you pull the black part on both sides evenly to the right.
and the clip needs to be out when you put it back in then push the clip in the same way.
"do not pull on the white part"

finger nail, small screw driver, something of that sort. wiggle one side then the other little by little till the cable slides out.
