The backlight is probably dead. Swap the backlight with the cracked LCD.

Ok the LCD can be taken apart there is the backlight part and the liquid screen part. I was thinking of making video of this but then thought who would go through hassle to do so. But if your willing to try i will. Taking the LCD apart is not that hard depending how much patients you have and stability to hold things and crack them open without breaking it.

o_O please could you care to explain you comment.
What he meant fat was simply taking apart the cracked lcd he has and removing the backlight part from the cracked one and replacing with the backlight of the lcd he wants to use.

The backlight is not that hard to take off. You just need to take off the back metal by prying the little clips on the side off.

when you pry the lcd from the lcd cage its the same thing, you pry the metal off the front (start at the bottom underneath the connector) of the screen that holds it in then hold the connector and pull (it is stuck down weakly by sticky stuff) and then the screen will come out, the thin part left with the plastic and second piece of metal is the back light repeat and swap, simplez.

You don't need to solder anything. It's just prying off the back and swapping them out.

i tried it and still there's no display...sigh!

i think i'll be needing a new one...

but still hoping for blazinkaos tut so the next time i'll be switching i'll know what to do..
