no video only sound

my cousin has an xbox that plays sound but no video we tried different cables and its the same thing we checked to see if the solder melted apart/off but it looks fine its normal

Did you check and see if the switch wasnt on HD.

Yo this should be an easy fix for you...


Try doing the X clamp mod...

I'm sorry. It's not illegal for me. I am a medicinal patient with a card.   =D  I will keep that in mind tho..

I'm surprised I didn't get any feedback on this repair. I'm still waiting for someone on this forum to say I'm wrong. lol

Your not wrong, thats why. X-clamp is a possible fix for this on occasion
