no real risk you must open the xbax and viod the waranty other than that, I am proll getting one next week

It can break the drive cause Talismoon are noobs and take power from the DVD drive. Dont do it brah it can also get you banned.

Hook it up to Mobo power not the DVD drive thing. Just cut the wires and connect to mobo spots with solder.

I agree about taking power from the dvd drive with the nitro swtich...I hate the whispermax fan lol  If you want colors like just ONE color get the regular and 12v mod it under the power supply. IF you want more than one color(hence the whispermax) I still wouldn't buy it...If you know how to solder, change out the 3mm LED's on the fan and put in your custom colors.

One reason why I always buy the regular is because it's like $22 bucks on ebay. Whispermax fan is I don't even know right now, pushin $40 maybe?

Why spend more when you can just 12v fan mod it constantly. Who cares if it's loud, it'll keep it cool foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. hehe

40 bucks u kiddin me. i know 2 places that sale the max for 24 bucks
the regular whisper is only 20. so just about 4 bucks more u get the ability to switch power draw and the color. not a bad deal. but its all in what someone wants. that 4 dollars more would be awesome with the chameleon case that can switch colors just like the whisper max. a color for ur mood lol

i cant stand ebay.

thats my 2 cents worth
