PSP 200 in PSP 1000 case
« on: November 01, 2009, 04:07:46 PM »
Is It possible to take apart a psp 2000 and put it inside a psp 1000 faceplate so that you have lots of room to mod without getting rid of your umd drive?

Yea, but it would more work to fit a 2000 into a 1000 then to just spend the extra time fitting the other stuff into the 2000 case

Nope. The PSP 2000 is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. The WiFi switch is in a different spot. The speakers are in a completely differet spot. And why would you want to put a 2000 in a 1000 case?  The 2000 is a lot thinner. Don't waste your time.

You don't need to get rid of the umd drive on a slim to make an internal camera. My point is, that you can't put a slim in a phat shell. Everything screws down in a different spot on the slim. I would do the camera mod, but the cameras are like 60 bucks  :cry2: Phat's are pretty cheap, and they are easy to install custom firmware on.

It was just a question I have a slim but haven't held a fat so i dot know the main question was if the screw down the same way and if the buttons line up. but think about it it would be great to have a rumble, camera, GPS, and dual nubs, umd drive, a still have space for speakers.

Dude, I just said that, you did this twice in this topic, quit it

Also,Rumble mod is Sht,Go cam is cool, but not needed. Gps is pointless, get a real gps cuz the gps on psp is bad, dual nubs are cool and usefull, umd drive is not needed- Cfw and you can play them back

THe only Mod with a point here is dual nub,cam and keeping umd drive.ANd this can all be done in the slim shell
