Analog stick issues after modding
« on: November 10, 2009, 07:05:27 PM »
So I inserted an LED into my controller for the PS button, and put it back together and everything seems fine, except for the left analog stick. When you point diagonally up to the right, and diagonally down to the right, it's slow for some reason. Like all other directions, the person runs, but if it is in those two directions, they walk.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Maybe some of your wiring is in the way, or maybe the PCB for the sticks is loose, or maybe you droped some solder where it shouldnt be on the board.

Wiring, thanks will check. Stick is loose? Hopefully not, haven't dropped or thrown or anything, have been very careful. As for solder, no I don't think I did I'm a careful person. Plus the way it seems is that it's a mechanical issue, rather than an electric one.

Thanks a lot for your reply though.
