My first unboxing and I had to use my cell phone camera, so it's not the best. I tried!
Key notes:
The 360 has the original GPU heatsink like the Xenon consoles. Seperate GPU/CPU. Might be a Jasper or a new motherboard.
Has the newest Lite-On drive that's currently unflashable.

It's not just that. It's an unboxing of a new and limited edition item.
The internals of the 360 are also different. It has a new motherboard revision with a [supposed] single-die gpu/cpu.

I'm sure 99% of the 360 forum will be interested in this, whether they mod or not. Lol

there have been no confirmed reports from MS that the new mobo has been released or even developed yet. that 250 gig hdd is a beast though

Preordered it and got overnight shipping. The only place I saw that allowed me to use Paypal only offered overnight with a confirmed delivery date of 11/11.

It does look amazingly nice, though simple. I want one strictly for the 250 gig HDD and the look. I know it's limited edition, so does anybody know how limited? Like how long will it be sold for until they stop selling it?

kicks, are you sure that is the origional heat sinc? from the pic it appears that the base has been redesigned to alow more surface coverage at the chip??? still odd they did not add the heat tube

the thing about this bundle

is the 250 gig hdd you cant buy this anywhere other than in this bundle. 250 gigs that is awsome!!! plus it has 2 wireless controllers, and xbox, and the game. lets break it down:

game = $60.00
2 controllers=$100.00
xbox=$200.00
headset=$20
HDD=$ ???

the bundle was $400.00 so you only paid $20 for the 250 gig HDD

the 120 gig is like $100 in the shop so this is an awsome deal.

Or if you think of it this way:

Game = $60
Controllers = $100-120
Headset = $20
Hard drive = probably $150 at some point

That leaves you with $330-350 on just the accessories. That's a $50-70 360.
The case alone could probably be sold for $100 as well!

And regarding the heatsink.
It's probably improved in some way, but I didn't notice. There was an article on X-S about it and the Forza bundled 360 is the same way and it's the original heatsink, so I'm not sure.
All I know was that I was INSANELY upset that this wasn't a single die CPU/GPU...I need that one for a special project.

just picked one of these up to hold me off untill i can afford to get a jasper board for my watercooled box (and ixtreme LT of course) im pretty impressed, probably wont be opening this one up, itll just be a backup console incase something happens to my other ones once they are re-flashed

did you see my Xbox of FB? a drafting compass is pretty handy for taking apart xbox'es, even the DVD tape isnt disturbed.
