wow, i was expecting 1st or 2nd...... but whatever
At least someone that did something won and it wasnt the person with most leds wins again like the last mod off. I liked yours second after spurgurgles.Good job though it was mad clean
especially because in the modoff rules it says "You will be scored more for functionality mods than cosmetic mods" and i tried to make a good combination of both. (The D-Pad, Moved Analog Sticks, then the 18-Mode fader/chaser for the ABXY/Dome, and the digital camo paint to match my custom MW2 xbox....) I just think it's rediculous that most modders these days just want to throw LEDs in something and not actually develop something. I miss the F00F00 days of modding when new mods would come out like every week.
Everyone voted for the :censored:ty led mods, like Alman's. We need a competition for the GOOD and REAL modders, the ones who aren't gonna throw leds in a :censored:ty controller, solder like , and win because their mod is flashy and lights up. We need the modders who know how to mod correctly, and who will provide functionality to something bland. We need a real competition, not a joke. To be honest, I'm extremely disappointed in this modoff, and even the people of this forum. Can't you people see real potential? Real mods? Modding isn't only about crappy lights. It's about functionality. It's about adding something or modifying something to benefit the user and add functionality where it wasn't before.Led mods aren't modding. They're cosmetics, and they only count when they're done correctly.I think we should have a recount, and the voters should be the staff of AcidMods (Mods, Globals, Admins, R&D, News Team, etc.), those who have been here for a while and have seen REAL mods. That is how the voting should be based. It shouldn't be based around letting every member vote, because then you have outcomes like this where the real modders don't get the recognition and the credit they deserve, and that credit is given to those who most definitely do not deserve it.
