same here and i have had a new phone every year since i was 10 and a few in between. i also love playing with phones and its my favourite so far

There is a lot of mixed opinions on the Iphone. I personally hear a lot of great things. However, I am in the Army. I think the Iphone was aimed toward the military. We have to keep track on all of our troops, their personal data, addresses, locations, finances, etc. and The Iphone seems to have just the right apps for the job. The Blackberry family is also great. I personally have a sprint Samsung Exclaim, which works well enough for now, but I would definitely enjoy the perks of an Iphone.
Of all the soldiers I've talked to with Iphones, only 2 have had negative remarks. The rest love it. Keep in mind, the average unit size is 120 soldiers, average battallion size is 2000 soldiers and averadge brigade size is around 8000 soldiers. Thats a lot of soldiers I have spoken with! I personally wish sprint would adopt the Iphone!

iPhone haters - take the sim card out / inactivate your phone, and then tell me how great it is. Does the droid have decent looking games? No. Does the mytouch3g look fluent in it's menu switching? No. Windows phones - does the is freeze if you have a crappy processor? Yes.
If your only gonna bash the network, please just shut up. Verizon dumb phones have a crappy UI compared to ATT ones.

yeah call quality is not the iPhone's fault. it's AT&T's. in the UK, O2 do me fine for call quality. also, yes, the iPhone is the best phone i have ever used. those who say we are biased can shut it. they're just as biased/stuck-up as any of us but in the opposing direction. why wont people let opinions lie. goddamn you make me sick

Yes, I had a mac, and I hated it. I originally hated the iPhone, but when you use it daily, opinions are easily swayed.

i myself think the iPhone is the best, and to hell with you if you try to force me to think otherwise. and i do own an iPhone, that is irrelevant due to it being my opinion.

I had an iPhone 2g, Iphone 3g and a Iphone 3gS. I love my 2g, and hated both 3g types to the point that i sold them all and bought a Google G1/HTC Dream and ive been in love ever since. Im waiting for the Motorola Milestone (The verizon DROID phone, but in GSM form) to come out in Canada for Rogers so I can use 3g Speeds for ATT and not to mention that phone looks bad ass!

Mendez you have a good point. The other day i was at my grandmothers house. I brought one of my guitars, i forgot my tuner tho so i barrowed my cousins itouch. I found 2 $10 apps and one free. its really anoying how they give you free apps, but then charge you for apps that are the same.

and as for the topic: the iphone isn't my favorite phone by far, but to say its the worst ever is just plain ignorance. buy a cheap one off ebay and compare them. I betcha money the iphone is better

Are there better phones?
Yes. And they're cheaper.

In conclusion, the iphone is a good phone, hyped by apple fanboys and overrated to the extreme. There are alot better and more practical phones out there.

meh, I'm not a phone fanatic, so I don't get a new one very often. I enjoy things like snowboarding and drum stuff.
