psp cfw help

not sure if this is in the right location if not plz move.... ok i have a psp i have just built its a 1001 phat that has been assymbled from 5 broken psp's... well i want to get any cfw on it to run homebrew games only problem is i have no way of making/aquiring a pandora or magic mem so because from what i understand u need a already modded psp to make a pandora so im screwed there... well anyways is there ANY way for me to get cfw on WITHOUT using chickHEN.... i hate  it and dont wanna try it ever again.... any help is much appreciated... thanks guys

no posts here so I'll give you my opinion. I haven't personally found any way of getting cfw without hen enabler. if you really cant get cfw you might want to use chicken hen as a last resort.

I used the hen 5.03 version and had custom 5.50 GEN-D firmware five minutes later.

do you have authentic firmware that is higher than 5.50?

what problem do you have with hen exactly it took me at least five tries before I could understand it.

and I have 5.50 Gen D2 full. Im thinking of getting a new battery. I could make a pandora if youd willing to trade for a UMD I can crack downloads are kinda hard here.

you can turn a normal battery into a pandora battery by just lifting/cutting a pin inside the battery. No need for a modded PSP. And making a magic memory stick is as easy as plugging in your mem stick and clicking a button on your PC to transfer some files.

blackburn i dont know which pin to cut because my battery is weird... never seen 1 like it.... ill put a pic up later when i get home
