no, it would be very easy, vemove the umd drive, finad a bif ass battery that will fit,  a wireless phone battery maybe, and wire that bad boy up.

it is very easy.. i am from china..in our market there is perfect UMD DIY batteries such as the pictures.but you must remove the UMD mod.i am planing to sell them on ebay.
