xbox joystick instead of nub?

okay so i just have a idea that i wanted to share maybe see if anyones tried it before etc, has anyone tried to put a xbox/playstation joystick on there psp instead of the little nub? comment on how stupid i am etc

I have used/modded a psp in awhile.. It could be possible but i cant go into much detail because of my psp lack of knoledge.
 Hopefully someone like nic0 or matt looks at this thread.

It was a retrocon joystick so it was already digital so there was no conversions.

Yes its very possible to do. There are tuts around of it done by Ben Heck. Google it
