New to Modding, have a few questions

Ok, so like the title says Im new to modding. I have a PSP, DSi, PS3, and a bunch of old systems. I dont know much about electricity and what not (Currently researching on the site here). After I read a bit more Im planning on doing a LED trigger/ UMD door mod. Anything I should do to prepare or get ready for these mods?

i would say that you should practice soldering a bit before you just go straight to the psp, becuase who knows....you could solder the wrong wire to the wrong place and screw your psp.

unless you do know how to solder.

also, make sure you have all the supplies before you try to do the mod, because you might think you have something, then end up not having the item to do it.

I think the psp is one of the best systems to start modding on because there's so many tutorials on just this site alone. The psp modding scene is so big it's really easy to find instructions on how to do things. I would check out the tutorial sections of this site and they'll give you a good idea of what you'll need and what to expect.
