Diffrent analog sticks?

I was wondering if it was possible to import the analog sticks from a ps2/ps3 controller to a xbox controller. dont get me wrong i love the xbox controller but it seems like with the xbox analog sticks you controll them with the edges of your thumbs. It seems like you would have more controll with the analog sticks off the playststion controllers. Please help me out. Thanks!

yes, you can take em from a PS3 / PS2 conroller. id say if you have a Ps2, take those, they fit better imo

it doesnt HAVE to, but i havent used a knock off. PS thumbsticks work flawlessly tho.

I use Ps2 thumb sticks, they feel better ad have more grip i think :tup:

The analig stick of xbox or ps2 are bigger than ps3 i know it because i have a ps3 controller broken and when i tried to change for xbox 360 controller i couldnt do it.

By the way anyone know where can buy analog stick smaller than xbox?

Original Playstation has about the same size as the PS2. possibly a gamecube stick could be used?

i just want a mushroom top type analog stick preferably a ps2 type stick. i think that you would habve more controll with it over the indented type.

Ok, then you only want thumbsticks no? You dont change The analog stick wich are soldered to pcb?

Or simply search on ebay i bougth two thumbsticks for 3,5€ but they came from hong kong
