How To Update WiiKey?????

Right now, i have a wiikey installed in my wii. I downloaded all the games properly but some new games don't show up. After i click play, the screen turns black. I'm pretty sure it's just the version of the wiikey. But i don't know how to update it. So anyone got any suggestions?

Go to the WiiKey site, download the update, burn it to a disk, and play it.
That's how I used to update my original WiiKey.

But how would you know which version you have?

do you install the wiikey or did you buy it pre-installed.

Another way to tell is that the Wiikey2 will play SSBB without a firmware update. while the wiikey1 will not

I think he meant software version.

yeah i know. so am i, but there are different updates for both chips. he needs to figure out which wiilkey he has first.

okay so i found out that i have wiikey version 1. But still the games i've downloaded doesn't play. eg. mario and sonic at the winter olympic games. When i put the disc in, the wii menu reads it normally showing me the title screen of the game. but when i click start it just turns into a black screen and stays like that. what do i do
