Hai gais, I got a 360 with a 74850c DVD drive. Problem is that the drive Motor is dead, and I need the key to spoof to a hitachi.

I don't want to waste $50 for a CK3 kit, i'll never use it again. Anyone know about the r707 solder thing to read the firmware?any help would be apprecialted.

ok what you do is like after you remove the bezil or w/e that front thing is on the drive normally silver but white on arcade. it is labeled xbox 360.
remove that then just under the tray you can see the gears i beleive it is one of the ones at the right you turn and the metal bars go down then the tray starts to come out just bring it out half way and your done no soldering and you got your key :)

edit: forgot to say use a SMALL flat head screwdriver.

see that pic like where that black piece is
just a little lower than the silver part.
just inbetween the tray and the metal there will be gears that you can see may need a flashlight.
get a small flat hand and start to turn on of them i believe it is one of the ones closer to the right ive done this before.

EDIT: no soldering needed no unscrewing needed
