Normal RF behaviour?

I've finally finished installing rapid fire but I've noticed two weird issues that makes me think something went wrong. I've checked tonnes of times for shorts and made sure its all wired up correctly but I can't spot the problem.

1.) When the controller is turned off you can still use sync button to change mode and LED stays on
2.) LED used for RF is very dim.

My theory for problem 2 is the 1k resistor is too much and using a lower would solve it, not got any on hand so ordered some to test but for problem 1, I can't figure it out.

You will need to tell us:

1. Which code you used.

2. Which controller you have. (CG, CG2, or Matrix)

3. What wiring diagram you used to install it.

I think its a CG2 Controller. U have to use a Optocoupler because the CG2 has no switching power.

yep it'll either be a cg2 or the wrong contact for the power on one of the other controller types and as forthe dim led..... is the a 1K ohm resistor fromthe chip to the led... if so yeah thats far to much... you need something more like 100 ohm......
