Hey guys no idea if I am posting in the right section or not so if a mod wants to shift this then go right ahead.

You might have noticed that theres an add form my site on the front page here an I promiced I'd do a link back. Well I havent managed to sort it out, so thought I'd see if you guys could help me out.

What I am after is something thats in keeping with the theme of my site as I thin using an off the peg acidmods logo would look a little odd on my site.

The page it would be going on is my blog front page and all of its sub pages. You can see that here http://tailormadetoys.com/blog/blog/
Size is up to you guys.

Best one wins one of my led controller boards for psp or ds.

Hidden, I've been dying to be able to Mod my PSP forever, I could study this and start making mods finally, Can we both work on this together? I have the dimensions and such.. But I'd really like to work on this together again..

Got to be honest. I have no idea of the dimensions. Have a look at the site an see if you can work it out. I dont want it too big though.

Is this in a staff only board? I dont know if I still have any staff privileges. But if it is please move it to a public area.

Yeah I'm sure Ken and I can work out a Size... You may need to ask someone else to move the thread, neither of us can.

yeh i will move it to public as this is private and the banner on the side of acidmods is i think 160x600

The banner here is 160x600 but that doesn't fit on my site. Its too long and not wide enough.

If you guys come up with a size you think is appropriate. is can test it out an see how it looks.

if it helps these are the standard sizes and shapes commonly used on the internet - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_banner#Standard_sizes

Fitting in with my site theme is the main thing I am looking for. But also its going to need too be obvious where the banner takes you.
Just keep it as simple as possible.

You just need to come up with a few ideas.

First of all pick the text you will use.
I used "ACIDMODS" and "Where consoles evolve"

The go to www.dafont.com and choose a font you like/that matches the page/site.
I used a sans serif font.

Do that, and then come up with a good bg. Maybe a circuitboard or something, cause it's to do with modding.

I can't see your pics.

I think you need to move it to the public folder on dropbox, and then go into the options for the item and click 'copy public link' and then we'll be able to see it.
