deciding to buy an xbox 360

ok guy sorry im posting this but i really dont know what to do, recently my friend bought an xbox360 from a friendand we played for several hours, i myself like playstation 3 better, but i also lie playing xbox so now im wondering if you guys can point me at a good one, for cheap... oh and he is giving me his wifi adapter for free. personaly i want a reliable easy to hack xbox, can you please tell me where to get an elite for cheap....  thanks in advance!

Im a visual arts major at Dreyfoos highschool of the arts , I love games  taking stuff apart (electronics) i have a ton of psps (some modded some not) 2 ps3s and a 3ds im happy with it.

i have an arcade with a HDD for sale really cheap with all controllers and cables. Im reliable and the cd drive has had the motor replaced. Thats all.
