HELP! PSP Go Screen Issue!

I recently came in possession of a psp go that did not work, and managed to bring it back to life. Aterwards, it would power on and i could hear sound (still do), but the screen is pitch black: no image, no backlight. after a few weeks, i managed to get my hands on a brand new oem replacement, installed it... no change! still pitch black, no image, no backlight, still hear clicksounds and everything

What is going on? I'm not captain moneybags so i can't just go out and buy a new one...

just a thought try flashing a bright led flash light into the screen with the front case off and see if you can see something. the reason I say that it might be the backlight fuse blown.

and just to let you know I don't even own a psp go but that is what is wrong with my psp 1000

What type of damage was done to it before.... Like water damage?
