LT problem
« on: May 19, 2010, 06:34:28 AM »
After doing well over 50 controllers now and feeling quite confident, I've noticed recently a common problem. I can't seem to figure out the problem which is driving me mad.

The LT stutters when aiming so sounds like its stuck in some form of dual mode and not only this, the RT doesnt work.

Then one person has informed me the LT doesnt work at all.

And now, I'm doing a controller that wont turn on anymore.

The LED for P3 is lit incredibly dimly when the power is off which is normal for these (swapped to blue) but when I try to switch on, the light goes out altogether and none come on.

I'm guessing its shorting somewhere, any guesses?

Cheers, Nathan

I've been using The 3 mode adjustable that's on here following the bmu diagrams. I would have thought for the lt problems, it was a case of spilling solder shorting one of the pins on the trigger.

Got a magnifying glass and can't see anything so the problem
must be elsewhere.

Haven't got a clue when it comes to the controller that won't switch on.

Oh and the controller is a matrix. Not sure what else I can tell you about it, any suggestions. Many thanks, nathan.

Tried a different chip? Or the same chip in a different controller? That might help find the cause.
