PSP Screen Swap questions

Hi im new here and new to psp modding. My questions is this i have a psp 3001 & a psp 1000 i would like to put the 3001 screen in the 1000 as i understand that the screen is brighter & a better resolution.

Now let me start out with me saying that I do not know If this will make your psp 1000 fuse blow or even if you can do it this way. My first suggestion is for you to take apart your psp 3000 and disconnect the screen from the back and LOOK AT ENDS OF THE RIBBON CABLES and if it looks like the skinny and fat ribbons on the top right of the pic you might be able to just connect it and there you go.

and just to throw this out there you might have to hot glue the back of the screen or something because the 3000 might be skinnier than the 1000 screen and I think this might help.

Do not try this unless you are willing to accept you might ruin your psp screen and DO NOT BLAME ME IF YOU DO!!! and you might wanna ask some one else up here.

Thanks for the info im waiting to get a new housing for the psp then i will take em both apart and take a look. Am i rite in saying that the new psp has a better screen?
