Soldering Wi-fi switch to be always on
« on: May 18, 2010, 06:52:17 PM »
I'm not sure what I need to solder for my wifi to always be on. I'm doing a repair mod for a guy who mailed his PSP to me so I could do this. I found an image here but it looks a little different than the board I'm working on.

Here's some photos of the motherboard I'm working on. What do I need to solder to have the wifi be on all the time? I want to do something similar to what is in the picture I linked above but it doesn't look exactly the same.

The three solder joints I circled in the second photo is where I think I need to solder but I only need to connect two of those, there's three there... Not sure how I'm suppose to determine what to solder.

All you need to do is to bridge the top two contacts.

Thanks! That's what I ended up doing. I just wasn't sure which two to solder. It works now.
