Recently Aquired a Classic Controller Pro
« on: April 27, 2010, 10:27:13 PM »
Got a knockoff Classic Controller Pro off eBay, $5 , and thought I might play around with it a little.  I've done some PSP modding in the past, so a CCP should be relatively easy.

I saw something about a wireless adapter for the Nunchuck, and thought about using it with the controller.  There's a lot of empty space in it, and internalizing a wireless adapter could be pretty cool.

Any other ideas for a small project like this, other than just basic LEDs?  Probably won't do anything like that, at least not right away.

EDIT - I also just realized that I'll have to add an internal power source for the CCP, since it won't be wired to the Wiimote.  If I can, I'll try and find some way to get a rechargeable battery in there (and maybe USB charging?), as well as some kind of indicator LED.

EDIT 2 - Does anyone know where I could find a pinout diagram of a Classic Controller Pro?  I've looked around, but can't find one.

Doesn't matter, since you got a "knockoff" one instead of a real one.
