Need help with the Jewel umd mod

Hey guys!!

First, thanks to lobo and K.A.O. for their help

I am going to start to mod my psp phat and i need your help. I want to cut the umd and put a jewel.

My issue is the following: What do you use to do the jewel? Or where do you buy it? I know neubit sell it but i tried it but finally I couldnt. I have seen that somebody use the case from a cd to do it.

use a dremel to cut the door out.or use a soldering iron lol , i did this with my psp, use a mask and clean your tip after. for the jewel uses the plastic off of like the clear plastic stuff on the cases of toys at the store.

This is i will do. I will use the plastics of the toys. I have to buy a dremel what do you recommend me? one cheap generic or one more expensive? I am going to use it only with psp mods

i bought 1 from harbor freight tool, here in my city, it was only $6 dollars, and it works good, for my psp mods, but i bought 1 from a garage sale for 10 bucks, and its a good model, its up to you

lol i used the sodlering iron to cut the hole in the UMD door
