sold separately "its not even out yet" it just comes with a plug in for it. If u want to use it on an old Xbox 360 you will have to use a power dongle with it.

is it actually all that smaller than the current ones. i doubt i will get it. i will wait till microsoft get there ass into gear and add blueray

Im with you mac, i was really hoping they put blu ray in this....  But when i think about it, if it had a blu ray player, i dont think it would play regular xbox360 games.

regular 360 games are on dvd so it shouldnt have a problem as you can get blueray players that play dvd. the ps3 can manage it so the xbox shouldnt have a problem

might be kinda nice to have the slightly smaller profile on my desk... built in wifi would mean it'd be easier to move to the TV and still connect to live when away from the router...

Can microsoft even use blu-ray? I thought someone else had the rights?

And anyway HD movies can be downloaded from the marketplace, and the games are HD already. Blu-Ray would make no quality difference (surely) due to the console's 'limitations'

i got one friday, and just found this thread today. my cousin who works at a gamestop says that of the few they had ther where a few probs. one was that the hard drive was messed up which could happen to anythiong and that a mic was messed up. other then that i love mine. playing forza 3 on it rite now.

Anyway, for blu-ray, you may as well just grab a player. I saw one for £60 the other day on Amazon

lol sorry but they get moved - when my new one arrives the old one will move to my sisters room. the order usually is most up to date tech in the family room then it moves onto my room then it moves onto my sisters room. i own basically all the electronics in the house apart from parents computer and the tv in the family room
