Remote lagswitch?
« on: July 14, 2010, 05:02:21 PM »
What is you were to put an IR receiver instead of a lightswitch on your ethernet cable to make a lag switch and make a remote? would this work? It was just an idea off of the top of my head, I dont see any reason why it wouldnt work.

Tell me what you think, or some other possible idea to make a remote lag switch.

i have made a lag switch before Using 2 channel reciver use to open and close gate via remote for 59.99 was able to take the remote aprt and fit it in xbox 360 controller the power for the remote is 12V small battary that can be fit in a place of one of the rumbler & the button for on/off is right below the controller where people put rapidfire button normally  i look for for picture and post them
and the reciver end was put in to box that has 2 end with Cat 5 connection which is splitting that one wire when the remote is on
and pass thru when is off  very simple and easy to do.
