New DS3 is DOA. Need Help

Hey Guys ,

Been a while eh :P  Anyways, i just bought a PS3 Slim and also got a second controller with it. The second DS3 has turned out to be DOA and Sony refuses to replace it as Sony India does not have an accessory warranty :/

The controller does not light up and does not connect. Basically it does nothing. Is there anything i can do to attempt to get it working ?

did you try and charge it? and nothing lit up? open it and see if the battery is conected.

you could buy a dual shock 3 seperatly and then put this in the box and return it

what is fraud is sony selling faulty electronics and then not replacing it.

The packaging is a plastic blister pack. Cant be resealed. And as it is , the concept of  return policy ie returning a product does not exist in India. Once you buy it , its yours and you cannot return it

im sorry to hear that dhruv, truly i am... i suppose its because of the high number of counterfeits.

i dont necessarily condone doing this. I've destroyed several electronics trying to mod and NOT ONCE have i tried the swap return. But in my eyes I DESERVED THAT. This that poor dhruv got is wrong. He BOUGHT it and it DIDNT WORK. Sorry dhruv, i'd check if battery is connected and if it is, if u have access to a volt meter to see if it has a voltage.
