Apple's 'Black Labs'
« on: July 17, 2010, 02:45:51 PM »
Over at Number 1 Infinite Loop, Apple has a rather secret test facility situated within the imposing building. There are several labs; each worth approximately a million dollars. These labs, habited by PhD Physicists and Telecom Experts, is the site of signal testing; specifically, 3G, EDGE, Wifi, and all other common signals under the sun.

It was only due to the current controversy over the iPhone 4's antenna design that the labs were opened to the press.
