ok so truck is completly dis asembled and now all parts have been sandblasted and primed with the exception of the frame which is being done now. parts are starting to come in nicely, new that all paint, rust bondo has been stripped we can start the body work/repair. we will prime all parts, and reassemble/fit all new parrts, once everything is fit we will then take back apart for final faint. this is where things slow down, as you cant tell how bad the body realy is until it has been sandblasted.

some progress this week, got the frame snad blasted and primed, sheeted the front fire wall in new aluminum, rebuilt motor, mounted motor, got new rear end in, and bolted into place, new fuel tank in (these used to have the fuel tank in the cab) disk brakes all the way around. .

keep in mind this is not something my company does, it is a hobby that we do to keep a few key workers busy during slow times. if we get busy this project will go on hold until we slow again.

lol ill take a video of my shop hahaha, yes we build buildings, when we built my bosses house we custom engeneered roof trusses to allow him to put a lift in his garage also, so technically we own two lifts.

we dont do much in my shop as far as work goeas, it is maily a storage point for materials if something is running early or late.

ok so its been a while since an update. looks like we were putting the body back on at my last post. we got the body all put on the truck roll pans instead of bumpers look great by the way. we got all the oa and chrome for the bed fit, stained and put away for now. seats are at the aupolstry shop, and of course there is alot of interior finishes to be done. but it is in final stages of paint.

this truck is being built as a tailgater truck, I live in gainesville, fl and we love gator football down here at the university of florida. so that will give the paint a bit of background for ya.

pics to follow, the paint is black epoxy primer, pearl white base coat, and all house of color air brush work. which will be finished in a cryistanline clear.
