Well, not real gold, but they would be gold color. The frets wouldn't be painted. I could even make a silver and color mix. It would match your colors, almost perfectly.

im pretty happy with how this turned out i didn;t have the screw driver required to take the internal boards out so i just used tape to cover them and it worked pretty good
