DS Lite LEDs

I just wanted to know:

1. How to put blue LEDs in the buttons of a DS like in this video. I already found a tutorial for the power lights and the L/R buttons.

Judging by the way the buttons light up, they are connected to the power light (which I also intend to replace).

2. Should I keep my black DS Lite housing and just get translucent buttons (including L/R), or replace the entire thing with a see-through one?

3. If keeping the black housing is a better idea, where can I get just the translucent buttons?

not a Ds modder but if you arent really good at organizing your led wires i suggest keeping the original housing and getting clear buttons.

tho this with clear buttons would look sick.

That would be cool. Thanks for the advice, but I have one last question. Should I keep my black DS housing or get one of these two?

Second, where do I get translucent buttons!? I've looked everywhere and the only site that might have them has been removed!

  im also looking on trying to find out how to mod lights into my ds lite i got the clear houseing off ebay for $12 and it came with the clear butts my prob is i dont know how or where to find a step by step guide as to how and what size lights need to be used to make this mod work so plz if any one can help email me or something

You want 0603 smd leds and 30 awg kynar wire you can find both of these things by using the search feature on ebay
