2 Xbox Deals!

Recently as in 3 hours ago I purchased 2 xbox 360's off ebay.  One is a guaranteed deal as the person has one year warranty left on the xbox with the E79 error (one light).  and the other is a xbox motherboard with either 0020, 0022, or 0003 errors.

Deal Info:
E79 xbox $35 from ebay fix involves replacing hdd and or xclamp and reflowing southbridge. (Easy Fix)

Motherboard only xbox $15 off ebay.  0020 fix bridged solder joint on RAM.  0022 fix bridged solder joint on GPU (H)ANA chip.  0003 fix Power problem or cold solder joint on CPU. (Medium Fix)

They are both non-HDMI and the e79 can have harddrive slot and connection replaced

Sounds like you got a heck of a deal. You can fix them and resell them and make a pretty profit.

Well my brother is a B*%@H about how i need to repay him for half my xbox because we shared b4 he started living with his GF.  So Im Going to fix the error one and send in the other to xbox.  That way the error one will become my 3rd jtag has dash 7335.  Or I will fix both myself since both are jtagable and ill go from there.

send in anyone you can. E79 is not as easy as you make it sound, and you lost me on the second one, is this MOBO only?

Well It is the MOBO and the metal cage. no white shell.  The E79 has been confirmed that it is me needing new hdd or you xclamp the southbridge.  the only other way that this problem occurs is if you have a jtag wired wrong.

Yeah its not as easy as you make it sound, It may sound crazy matt but you can actually xclamp the southbridge.  Hopefully the one that is just the motherboard and the cage is jtagable because if you fix it and the dash is newer
than 7371 then your screwed because you wont have the matching disc drive.

you mean you can apply a heat sinc to it. xclamp is exactly what the name states, its a heat sinc clamp in the shape of an X. when freforming the "xclamp mod" you replace the X clamp with standard bolts to hold the heat sinc in place that is cooling the CPU and GPU....so I am unsure of how it would be posible to "xclamp" the south bridge. you may add a heat sinc to it, but I hisghly doubt you are going to drill through the mobo and add a heat sinc to it, then apply an X shaped clamp of the correct sive to hold that heat sinc.

Yez Zir thats the one.  I knew how to fix it b4 with about $10 of materials but then I saw that they had a $5 kit and Im like WTF! so Im gonna get that one if the xbox doesnt have warranty on it.

Plus the E79 one should have warrenty so I dont neccisarily need to do the "xclamp" or putting metal over it trick.  But the other one in the cage should be good and YES it comes with the original matching MOBO and disk drive.  So It is an xbox without the white shell.
