BlackBerry working toward a comeback.
« on: December 02, 2010, 09:33:47 PM »
Yesterday on December 2nd 2010 it was announced that BlackBerry is gearing up for a powerful comeback.

Research in Motion announced the upcoming purchase of The Astonishing Tribe also known as TAT. TAT is a mobile technology software design company located in Sweden. They are known for making extremely slick and smooth interfaces for a wide range of phones including Android.  RIM’s new turn for the company will be focusing on the BlackBerry’s interface.

Not only has the company brought in new personnel to put a spin on there highly reliable but boring interface they have also acquired Dara Viz for applications, and App store software. Will the BlackBerry take its place back on top of the hill of smart phones and claim the throne again? Only time will tell.

I loved my BlackBerry, I went back to Palm when my screen got cracked at work. I hope it works out, they do have very reliable phones.
