So we are trying to start up AcidCast, a pilot will be released as soon as we get some suggestions on what you want to hear, Xbox news more than PS3? A new game release? anything and everything give us some ideas, this can't happen without you

It's a Podcast, so basicly a chat show, that would be the closest i think.

And we need content, what do AMers want to hear?

Well since no one has posted suggestions yet, I'll be the first to start. Personally, I would enjoy the latest games for consoles such as the Nintendo DS, Wii, Sony PSP, PS2, PS3, and the Microsoft Xbox 360. Maybe some reviews on them and other information about them as well like release dates if they are upcoming. I would also enjoy the latest console hacking/modding news such as new homebrew releases, latest case mods, information on growing homebrew scenes (like the PS3), and good stores to buy products from. I think some sort of Developer Talk would be cool too. By this, I mean providing information on new projects developers are working on and maybe even get them on the show to say a few tips or spoilers on their upcoming projects/challenges. I hope the best for this project and would also be glad to help someway if possible. Please let me know if I can!

Also, have you come up with any more details that you can share on this like how long each show will be and if it will be an audio podcast or a video podcast?

I have a friend that is building up a pod cast type show: "GTV", but it is not a pod cast, really. His show is more of a promoting and tutorial kind of series.

Both shows "GTV" and "AcidCast" can promote each other since he will get his viewers from YouTube... (or any gaming network). We may get our viewers just from daily members/visitors and people who are members of other forums too that talk about us.

My friend is in to "free advertising" basically promoting by just talking good about it.

EDIT: I forgot to post what I think should be on it.

I don't there should be in-depth tutorials what so ever. The shows should contain updates for the most popular games, new mods that come out, AM Shop promotion, quick game tips etc.

@supamorce  audio podcast, we tried vid before and its too much work when this isn't our only commitments, but thanks for the suggestion, am pilot will be released after Christmas

I think this would be pretty cool, id like to hear gaming/tech news, whats goin on round the site like any new things in the AM shop, anything new in R&D, mods from members of the site. any idea when/if you will get this up and running?

To the first comment on what we'll cover, more 360 coverage than ps3 isn't going to work out. Things need to be balanced period. It isn't going to be a game of favoritism. I don't suggest using filler if there is no news but one product shouldn't be covered more than another.

See this is what i wanted, So instead of more things about the wider gaming community you would rather hear about AM, the new mods and such, maybe if we get hold of some RnDers we could get some "Leaks" lol but this might be difficult because obviously AM isn't as active as the whole community itself, and yes, hopefully before Christmas if the 4 of us can get on skype at the same time

Yeah sure, AcidCast will be Me, toadzilla, Kilokk and TwisT. The only trouble we are having at the moment is that TwisT and toad are at EST and i'm at GMT and kilokk is at....some other timezone so it's hard to get us all together at the same time

Hit me up on skype / fb or sthn if you need any help with it.. i'm up for it. My opinion - keep it short. Atleast in the beginning 15 minutes or so... that way we can get it out more often. Byte sized content is easier to produce , listen and considering this is our first try... safer :P

yeah, well i think the first few will be finding what everyone likes and dislikes, So if they prefer longer ones or shorter ones, what on the way of content and such, so by the 3rd or 4th we should have it consistent
