I wish i could tell you it was that easy. Ive been repairing stuff for a very long time now and usually when a controller shuts off by itself, its a very hard fix. If you replace the sync button on that board, it still is not gonna work correctly because the sync button depends on those solder traces to hold it in place. Lol heres some pictures of all the extra boards i have. Most of them have the problem with shutting off by themselves. It usually requires the replacement of the chip on the back of the board. But im to lazy to take the time to do it....
I will apologize if this is off topic which it probably is. but HOLY CRAP that is alot of busted controllers!
