xbox 360 core cooler problem???

i had it running good but then i did a dvd case mod and when i plug the core cooler in it would turn on and work but the dvd drive wont work and when i take it out then the dvd drive will work. any ideas??

Never mind fixed it all i had to do was connect it to a 12v source i gues the wire was a bit messed up.

the red and black wire that connects to the fans are the wires that need to be connected to a 12v spot red is + brown or black is -

are they loud? i had 1gen 360 single xcm fans, but they where to loud for my taste.

lmao ok the fans are just like the fans running in the back. they all sound the same i think you should get this because it really cools down your system and it quiet.  its not like if you were to hook the back fans to 12v those sound loud

well the whisper legacy are the quiet.. but only replaces them in back.
havent tried the new xcm cooler v2 for new boards, but the old xcm v1 for xenon boards sounds like 12v. (like a freaking airplane taking off).
