hi all. sorry for the late replies. was busy doing some repairs.

so lets start the mods shall we? 

with the coming of NGP, a lot of people are sending their PSP for modding because they want to put it on personal display when NGP comes out.

so here are some mods that i will be doing.
hatsune on a PSP1k.
Kingdom hearts on a PSP2k
and hopefully if the time allow me to, a PS3 modded with GT5 theme.

I will try to be as original as possible, and quality is always first priority in my projects.
what to be expect by the end of this project are OEM quality projects, simple but creative design, i will try to put the overall cost for certain projects so people will know they don't need to spend a lot of money to make an awesome mods.
and i hope somehow this will change how people mods in AM.

i receive my unique number around last week.

this is the PSP1k that i will be modding.

this was my first design.

but the owner doesn't like this design, and requested me to put some 'cybernetic' design because hatsune miku was and android (which i didn't know)

so here's the housing that i will be using.



so im going to start with spraying the trims and ring 1st!
as usual, take out the necessary parts, heat up the hot air blower at 100c. warm up the ring and take it out.







the colors that i will be using for the trims and ring are ocean blue pearl.



lets begin airbrushing~

i begin with a white basecoat, i like to do the back part 1st, then work my way to the front.



while waiting for the basecoat to dry up, i take my time to tape the housing.


finally the basecoat drys up,



then lay out the ocean blue pearl



then back at working on the case.








i did add a little purple pearl. you can see the purple slightly

im just using the decals as stencils like everyone else.
the real advantage of using vinyl is i can really customize the looks of my mods just by designing it in a computer, i can get the right size, the right place to put it and etc. so basically i can do any design on a console rather than stuck at the same design that is sold on ebay.

back to mods.
i cant do much today, the psp for the KH mods just arrive, i need to go out to get some pearl green paint.

that only thing i manage to do this morning was putting some vinyl to proceed with the next layer of design.
and here are some pics.

the vocaloid words are hard... the words are crossing across the buttons and nub. now i can meke it much easier if i paint it near to the LCD screen line. there's a lot of space there...




proceeding with the next stuff are crazy. and also suicidal i might say  .... 1 mistake here, and it will ruin the mods... i might even have to get a new case...
but.... this is AM, which half of the registered users here are mental.
you have to be at least half mental to do all the mods that you have seen in the entire AM site.
so should i just go with it? or should i just paint it just beside the LCD screen?

so here are some updates. i have discuss with the owner and he dont want the words to go through the buttons. so im doing it like this

so other changes, he want it to have japanese 'hatsune' words.

Yes a vinyl cutter will cut the stencil based on a vector drawing that you give it... it does cutting the work for you...

the case actually already finish, just need to clearcoat it and it will be done!




i already begin spraying for the PSP2000 kingdom hearts themed mods, but i wont update some of the pictures now.
if you like the hatsune miku psp, wait till you see the kingdom hearts psp, it will have amazing details...

as you can (barely) see here are some design that i manage to complete this week.

sorry for the late updates, actually i already finish most of the stuff, but i will update the pics after clear coat for today. oh yes i just notice there was no AM modoff id number card in the pictures, i was working under blazing sun. so the only thing that i was thinking off is to finish it asap. i will post another set of pics after buff with the modoff ID number.
