i have a 23" full hd samsung tv with god knows how many ports and features when my crt went i had to use my tv for pc and my ps3 (xbox was on it but did not use it) 1 click of a button and it was from pc to ps3 and ps3 to pc as it don't let you use channels that don't have a picture on.the only problem is mines no longer for sale but you can get the updated one which still is the same really just new model.

you can get the bigger ones for your price an old friend went for 3 hd tvs and they was crap and i mean crap bust from argos,lg from asda, philips from comet, all these was not very good bad pictures bad sound ect i told him the tv i got but they never sold it so he went for the 26" and never heard one bad thing about it. 23 is ok unless you want it for full living room stuff if so you need about 300-400 pound for one unless your a secondhand guy.but samsung is your best.

come to the rite place if you kiss admins as they promote you to admin.

Oh yeah and I if you get a Monitor you cant put your ps3 on it, but if you get a tv you could put a computer, ps3, and you will have more connects in the back.

yeah, stick with an hdtv not a monitor, monitors are usually very limiting in the types of connections they will use and HDTVs usually have every connection under the sun...

I would definitely stick to true brand names, you know the standards, samsung, sony, etc. I hardly ever hear complaints about them... you can't go wrong with the big names, and a little extra cash to get one is worth not having to buy two or three of them in the long run...

I have to disagree, I love my monitor, you can get some amazing OLED monitors quite cheap now. Dell have some of the best.

plus:techninjadude please read my post before replying like that its just a example that is my tv i have my ps3 on and you cannot go wrong with it.

tl;dr whole topic, maybe halfway

I have to say that personally, I love my monitor and it does everything I need it to do

Viewsonic 2260wm
- DVI, HDMI, D-Sub
- Built in speakers (good quality) w/ 3.5mm In/Out
- 22" 1080p
- 2ms responce time

But normally I have my surround sound hooked up to it through 3.5mm Out

Hooked up to it I have my xbox, desktop, and PS3. It might not be huge, or play TV but I think it does everything else needed.
